Intro to Metalsmithing: Custom Ring Workshop
 
Where? Twisp, Washington
When? March 8th, 2025 10am - 3pm
 
Build a custom ring in this five hour workshop where you will learn the basics of silversmithing. 
 
Designed for beginners, no previous experience or skills required. In a small group of four students, I will guide you through the process of creating your own custom ring from start to finish. With hands-on demonstrations, personalized instruction, and plenty of practice, you'll learn key techniques such as sizing, sawing, forming, soldering, stone setting, texturing, and polishing.. Each student will have their own work station and tools. At the end of this class, you will walk away with your own custom ring and the basic knowledge of metalsmithing! 
 
All tools and materials are included in the class fee. I will provide a large selection of gemstones to choose from for your ring.  
Upon completion of this class, you will receive a comprehensive beginner guide that covers how to set up a home studio, a tool list, and how to practice this craft safely at home.

This class will take place at the Camille Wild Studio located at TwispWorks in Twisp, Washington. 
 
Once I have received your payment, your space will be confirmed. Two weeks prior to the beginning of this class, I will send you an email with further details. 
 
Course Prerequisites:
No prior experience necessary
Must be 14 years of age 
 
Cancellation Policy:
Please note that 25% of your class fee is non-refundable if you withdraw up to 30 days before the workshop. Within 30 days of the class, the fee is non-refundable unless I am able to fill your spot. In the event that I need to cancel the class, you will receive a full refund of your class fee.
